We are often blinded by our goal. We often feel anxious by it. We see others doing the things that we desire, and yet that person doyen’t have peace either. Who ultimately has the peace in the end? By whose mercy does their pain get washed away?

In the pursuit of winning and never giving up, who delivers us from the mercy?

The ocean began its anthem
the shores began to tremble,
the blue sky began to recede
and the dark clouds began to rule them,

A fisherman went out to sail
and wanted to catch the fish, by the hook or by the tail,
two to three hours he stood there
he caught scraps and metals, anxious was he.

The sea was merciless,
The sea didn't even cared

A worker also went to the sea
he caught dozens of fish, by the hook and by the tail
he didn't even stood there, for an hour, two or three

Yet he stood, anxious was he

"The sea is merciless,
The sea doesn't even care..",
exclaimed he

The fishermen shouted at the worker
"why are you cursing at the sea, my brother;
why are you anxious, when I am here standing and suffer"

Then the worker spoke out loud at the fisherman
"all I wanted was scraps and metals to sell,
but all I get is cheap fish and sea shells"

I stood at the lighthouse,
Seeing those men in the darkness, and
Seeing the waves rise higher
Higher than any of our anxiety could be
I stood there calm. There is no escape.

"Oh yeah,
The sea can be merciless, and
The sea doesn't even care...
And neither do we"

...

In the end, the clouds receded,
In the end, everything was settled

all that remained was
the fishs and sea shells,
and the scraps and metals

In the end, Mercy it was of the sea,
that the anxiety of us was washed away

and in the end,
it made the metals shine and allowed fish to swim free
