While I spend much time surfing on the internet, I am not an much avid user of social media – atleast not in traditional sense of using it. For me, social media is a medium through which I discover new things, research on topics I love, read pieces of my favourite authors and writer, and share things that I feel benefit people on the internet. I do use social to vent out and post things to ease of my frustration 1 – albeit less that before.
While I am may not actively post stuff often on my social media page, I am quite an active user of Internet, although not social media per say.
Since I am maintaining a blog, and I should have a channel or framework to recieve information from my readers, I feel it is better to list out some channels of communications to reach out for the readers.
So here they are.
Medium of communication
Most Active on
- X/Twitter : Use it for sharing most recent updates and keeping an eye for latest happenings around the world
- E-Mail : For all offical communications. Also my main medium through which I read newsletters and RSS feeds
- LinkedIn : Although a poor source of information, I still use LinkedIn to engage and learn from professionals directly. Albeit one best source to DM credible people and learning from them
Moderately active on
- Discord
- IIRC

I am most active on twitter, although I post less there. I find social media like X are great to get up-to-date news fast. Moreover, it is a fast way to communicate and interact with people.
Yes, it is toxic. Yes, it still has some hate-speech issues ^[JK: ]. But as long as one knows how to navigate the noise and extract signal, you are good to go. I have been using internet for so long, and i am not easy to fall into rage bait.
